Ouch, 1.85 with all that stuff??? I cut a 1.77 60 ft with stock suspension and 17" mickey thompson drag radials. I guess its all in the launch I spend a good amount of time practicing my launch. I guess what they say is true practice makes perfect.

1.55 60'
QA1's, R's front set on 0? rears single adj, set on 7 right, 6 left.
sphoon T/A,
BMR LCA's
stock springs removed the rubber spacer.
disconected front sway bar.
27-11.5-15 hossier qtp's
12 bolt mosier 3.73's

I dump the clutch at about 6-6500 on the bottle. (stock motor). I have only gotten two 1.5 60's but both were great. Its hit or miss on traction on a preped track. If they just get done laying down vht it hooks but after awhile it just spins. I tried a lower rpm launch but it just boggs after the initial jump. It will lift the front on the street with a 4500 dump but its all over after that lol. Looks good though.

what tire psi? When I was running 26" slicks I was running around 10-12 psi and heating the slicks in 2nd gear to get the tires real hot doing a John Force burnout. If you heat those tires up good with 10-12 psi you will bog launching at 4,300rpm

when you guys say 'dump' the clutch at 5000rpms, do you guys literally clutch all the way in and let off the pedal as fast as you can? i have a mcleod twin and it engages pretty high and if i did that, i could imagine how big of a shock that would put on the drivetrain. would the T56 handle that? i have a PST driveshaft and a Moser 9 with all the UMI supsension. planning on some bogarts with 28x10.5x15 ET DRAGS.

ive done 6500 on a spec3 and my current spec5 depends if the track can hold it or not to be honest with ya. but the drivetrain can take it . thats why you got a 9" right

I have cut a 1.51 with standard BMR TA and LCAs with relocation brackets that the welds busted on so they were not solid (found this out later). Had a 4.56 and that was on about a 110 shot. But did a 1.58 with the same set-up on 4.11 gears. Still messed up LCA brackets. Oh and major tire rubbing. Should get back that 1.51 with all that fixed or better this fall.

Removing the sway bar definately will help weight transfer. One you get adjustable CA's and TA you could have accidently set your pinion angle wrong. Some even get into the positives. Lower the psi to around 12psi hot and try that.

For me...
1.54 60ft
90/10's 50/50's
150lb coilovers front eibach drag springs rear
Polyurethane boxed non adjust upper/lower CA
tubular front end
built rear w/ 4.56's
6600-7100rpm launch

..... w/ 304rwhp.

just kidding, nice 60ft with so little power.

some of you guys are getting out of the hole nicely, wish i could get those kind of 60fts
