Default Cage install

I know molly is going for about $100 a point minus the cost to fab it.

When I had my WOLFE 10 point put in my old 96 it cost me like $1,500, that was them pulling most of the interior also and I know I got a deal on it but the scratched the car a few times so I am not going back.

I am going to need a full molly 10 point fabed and installed, along with pulling and installing the interior, swing out drivers side bar, a harness, window net, paint, HVAC box pulled and a plate thats painted put it, and a cert would be nice.

No more then bottom 2k range?????

I talked to them a few months back (they start at $1,800). Still might go threw them. There is a local guy that I would also like to do it and have him weld in a WOLFE anit-roll bar, the LCA brackets, make the torque arm double adjustable and some other stuff along with dial in the suspension and weld in some new mufflers. The problem is is is rather busy. If he can't I am going to trailer the car to Burkhart.

I may end up just taking it up to them.

I gutted mine and got it ready. He did final prep and install. I love it. Putting the dash back in today was a chore but I got it all figured out

Mine was just under $2400 WITH the NHRA cert.

I assume thats painted/harness/window net/swing outs?

That sounds about right at what he quoted me minus the interior.

I may or may not pull my interior. Its near perfect and I don't think I have the time to mess with pulling it and putting it back it, it was a nighmare with the 96 and pulling the dash in my old 86 was even worse hahaha. That way he can also cut the dash and all.

I bet Ill drop 3,500K or more at Burkhart after some other stuff gets done.

Another vote for Burkhart. ALL my suspension and chassis work is being or has been done there. They are very good at what they do. Also got the cert sticker there.

Don't buy relocation brackets, they only have 2 holes and are not that great for tuning being you have a whole two options, I know a way that you can have some made that are way more adjustable and as far as I can see no one is making them yet but they will be the next hot item. PM me on here if you want more info, I'd be more than happy to help.

The original set we made had four sets of holes. The set i am running now does to Then again We designed them over eight years ago.

back on topic.

That price had every thing mounted but I supplied every thing. I am in a high price area and it was a good grand less then all the others quoted me.

Take a look

More can be found HERE

BTW I opted for the kiddney bar instead of the swing outs

I pulled my interior minus the dash and it only took about an hour. Thats the easy part. The dash may be another story. LOL.

The dash is not bad. Take your time and have another set of hands and it will be out in 2 hours. Now that my dash is gutted, I can get it out in about 30 min.

Getting the dash out is easy. Trimming it to fit a cage is what takes alot of time to make it look good.

I trimmed mine before the windshield went back in. I roughed it out and then used a dremel to finish it. Took about abazillion test fits but came out good.

Another vote for Burkhart. When I need more than 6 points, I'll definitely be heading there after seeing what they did with Steve's car.

I really did not have any issues with the Windshield in.I have had my dash out a few times since 97. Hardest part is always the VATS box. you have to split the dash in car to get it un-plugged...I fixed that now

So I put the venting back on the dash(I kept the heater on my A/C delete...only 12.8Lbs with blower) and had no problems doing my test fits. Maybe eight times to get where I wanted on the mian dash.

the HARD part is rewireing every thing around the cage. mainly the main wire harness on the driver side. It USED to go where the driver side cage now sitts. It took a while but I got it

BEST advise. Take your time and be careful.
