Front QA1s
I paid more for them than the "R"s were going for.
My question is how much weight transfer difference is there between the two? Enough to take these out and sell these and get the "R"? I don't care about streetability because the car is rarely driven and I can tolerate a lot. Honestly, the car felt like it transfered more weight with the F's (when they were new) I have not yet had a chance to really test the difference at the track yet, blew my 3rd set of 4.56 in 2 years at the track on the first pass. I'm looking forward to testing them as soon as the new gears get delivered and installed.
I would not recommend using the "F" shock for drag racing, you run them on the loose setting and they handle horrible and you hit the brakes hard you will bottom out your car pretty good.
Get the "R" shock and if you have money, Strange also makes a double adjustable front shock for only 250.00 each. which is a good deal because you can tune it to work for street, drag or road racing.

They quoted me 200.00 for the pair to rebuild / revalve my HAL "F" to a "R" shock. Turn around time is about 2-3 days they said.
A lot of money saved vs 340.00 plus shipping for new "R" shocks.
All I know if 100 a shock is better than 170 for new ones and I only have like 20k miles on these.

You can have them revalved to the "r" shock for 100 each.
