ATI 8" converter on the way...
ATI 8" converter on the way... ordered up my ATI 8" treemaster MRT converter today.. im pumped
should be between 5000 and 5500 stall.. he would not say for sure.. i just gave all my specs..
input wanted on what u think this will do to my ET..
old setup... trex, w/9 in 4.56 gears, th350 with hughes 3500 stall and 255/60/16 mt DRs.... 6800 rpm limiter.. ran a best of 11.7 @ 108mph w/ 1.56 60ft ran out of gear with the 26" tires.
Now : trex, 9in w 4.56 gears, th350 ati 8" 5000+ stall and 28" ET Drags, same 6800 rpm limiter......
any input on what u think i will run...???? thanks

Should be mean on motor. I'm about to order a similar converter from them for the website Camaro. My guess is that you'll drop ET like crazy. I've gone 11.0@121 (1.55) with 28x10.5's and 4.10's. Car needs more converter and more gear. I'm hoping for 1.40's and an ET drop to like 10.7.
not yet.. but i will be soon...
im hoping for an 11.3 or better.. i am still on same tune as when i had the tr224 cam and running a stock LS1 intake, and shitty SLP LTs... not sure of raceweight.. probably 3200lbs+

In my Tubbed BB Nova I picked up .3 in ET over the 10in ATI I had before....
It was more loose but it put the front wheels 2 FEET in the air

I have only 450 rwhp and got a 1.47 60ft only the 2nd time out with the car and it pulls the fronts an easy foot in the air

I have had an 8" treemeaster MRT in my car for three years now and hundreds of passes. Amazing thing it has gone all the way from mid 10s with about 600 crank hp to 9.0x with nearly 1000hp with no changes and it still slips less than 10%. The 1.25-1.27 60 foots are kinda cool as well

My ATI worked great on the motor and on the 200 shot then it pushed threw ~ 650 rwhp . They tried a few more but couldn';t get it efficient enough. MY coan worked like a champ.
