Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! It is built up here in Toronto.. They had a SBC bike (with less power & 100lbs heavier) that a guy raced a little and went 10.0@138 not being able to hold it wide open!!! On the Moroso dream calculator, it should run a 8.70@154!! Hehehhe! Multiply the HP by 3 and the weight by 3, its making some steam at 960rwhp/1140rwtq@3300lbs! Oh ya, all you got to hold on is your hands!!!!

Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! I'll ride it! Where's the key! Would take some brass one's to open that bad boy up tho! Can you imagine how it feels to hit 150 in the quarter on a bike! Real hairy. Oh, and dont touch your leg on that shiny tube.
Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! most big cc sport bikes are close to 150 in the 1/4. I have an R1 and I trap 148 consistantly and have been as high as 151. that is a stock bike with exhaust and a jet kit. But my best et is only 9.98.

Looks like a sweet bike! Is that one of those Boss Hoss bikes? I saw some at a motorcycle show a while back that had 502 big block Chevy's on them.
Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! I was wondering how long it would take someone to take a boss hoss and through a LS1 in it. 
Now i know. It needs more power though. Maybe a TT setup or a nice head/cam package with a 150 shot.

Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! My buddy used to sorta think he was Billy Badass and had some *****, then I took him to the strip where guys on bikes were running 120+ in the 1/8th just holding on with 2 hands and it humbled him some 
Last week at the track we saw this really racy looking bike (race fairings, wheelie bar, all that jazz) and heard a turbo spool as he did his burnout, then he purged the nitrous and we were really wanting to see him run but he broke on the line

Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! thats what i was going to say ive heard of people putting merlins with the 632 cu in engines and around 600 hp/600t
i know boss hoss has there 502's in them with 500hp&t
that bike is nothin compared to those......although i dont think i could hold on if i gave it full throttle.
those are definatlly over kill if you do have the ballls to twist the throttle all the way the engine would torque and flip the bike.

Re: ARE's New Pit Bike!! This bike is made here in Toronto, they are called the 'Big Brute'. This one with the LS1 in it will switch lanes on you when you gas it!
