Any pics of Formulas with 29" tires out back?
I have been running 28x10.5x15 Hoosier slicks on 15x10 Pro Stars and am now investigating 29" DOT's.
I have already seen 29's on Camaros FWIW.
Thanks!

Rick: What size are those, and thank you for staying on topic unlike George. Did you have to perform major surgery to get them to fit?
George: a guy is selling 30" ET Streets over here for $200 for the pair new, I am soooo tempted but I think they would be kind of tall.

Re: Any pics of Formulas with 29
The rear end is narrowed a little. 1 1/2" I think, Madman ordered it for me. The wheels are 15x10's with 6.5" BS. I had to cut about an 1" in the front and about I dunno about the rear. The 28's I let eat through the plastic a little. I cut about another 1" and let the 29's eat the rest THe metal is cut back pretty far. The wheel wells have been massaged pretty good for when I was running the 28W's. The 29.5's were a lot taller then my W's though. I couldn't even fit the 29's in with cutting the body intially. Not hard to do though and it will be worth it.

PSJ,
You should be able to fit a 28x10W ET drag no problem on your car....
ARE is running a NON "W" 28x10 to 8.70's@165mph.
I think you would have no problem getting your car to hook on that tire
Looking forward to seeing your car finished and on the track!!

I don't want to run a W sometimes they are not allowed in classes and they are pretty wide.
Bill, you running a 29x11.5 on a 15x8 or 15x10?
We were looking at my car, man the rear sits up high I should be able to fit a 29 on there no problem except for some BFH'ing of the front part of the wheelwell.

Re: Any pics of Formulas with 29
IMHO you need to radius the front of the wheelwell to make it look right. I took about 1-1/4" from the front of mine and about the same on the rear.
We welded the fender lip back on in the front and 99% of the people don't know it's been altered.
Here's the car on 30" drag radials
