good luck with it man. the sportsman catagories are very very competitive, lots of talent there. keep an eye on what the others guys have on their cars and see what you can figure out. very few people willingly give up any trade secrets or perceived advantages, but you can see what some of them are up to with a quick look around.

if you decide to come out to englishtown or maple grove for the national events give me a shout.

good luck!!!

I strongly disagree. I have seen many cars, mine included, pull the wheels like that and run the exact same time as when they did not pull the wheels at all. Last time at the strip I tripped the sixty foot sensor with my rear tires for a 1.45 sixty foot time and a 10.30 @ 128.7 mph. A few passes later I had the front staying down and went a 1.34 with a 10.28 @ 129.13. That is just one example.

In a class with tight rules .02 is worth spending money to get. I would spend alot more to get .43 MPH. It is free if I can keep the front end down.

That's my dad Ed I was waiting to see that in the Dragster. Talk about an awesome day he was on and the car was just working. He's only run the S/ST class twice and so far he's placed 5th at the Gateway divisional and 1st at K.C.The car isn't even throttle stopped absolutley no electronics waht so ever just back the timing down and let it eat! Not to bad for a 56 year old Grandpa still rowing the gears lol.

Here's the car gold 67
