pullin wheels off the ground ???
i have a some what stock 98 and im shotting to get it to pull the front wheels when i launch it. i need to know what i need to do to the car for it to pull with stock ls1 block with a 232/232 cam heads and 3600 stall and 9in with like a 4.10 gear? i dont want to drag the bumper but that would be great i just want a lil lift even one wheel coming off the ground. if there is a better cam for the car to pull. i'm not that great with cams/heads.

pulling the fronts is all about traction and weight transfer. what do you have under the rear of the car and what are you planning to do to get more grip out back?
i would suggest a bigger stall, think 4000-4400 and take advantage of everything that engine has off the line.

just some suggestions. It should not take all of these to do it because I did it with a 231-237 TSP cam stock rear 3.23 LS6 intake headers and removed front sway bar with stock SS wheels all the way around and ET streets on the rears. It pulled about 2"s off the ground. Stock rear suspension besides LCAs. Stock TA. 4L60e with a tci 3500. Also some weight reduction and battery relocate.
If you still have a front sway bar take it off
Sticky tires
Spool
Short TA
Lose as much weight as possible off the fornt
Transbrake
90/10 front shocks

My car runs 12.50's and just barely hops the left front tire off the ground when i leave.
Mods:
ET Drag radials
TCI 3600 stall converter (only getting 3,300 flash when I leave)
full lenghts, offroad Y-pipe with a cutout.
stock 3.23 gear
no front sway bar
Full race weight 3680 (with me in the car)
UMI lower rear control arms
UMI Frame ties
Stock internals
Ls6 intake

12secondV6 yanked his front tires on a 13.5 N/A run with a 1.7xx short time last year.
i think everyone is pointing to the same key, it si a traction thing. put the power on the ground and it will put the tires in teh air.

Weight transfer is the key I think. No swaybar, good shocks and good tires should put you there. Oh and a bigger converter.
My pig cuts 1.50 60's on the spray and barely lifts the fronts for a sec. 3600+ lbs street car with a/c. lol.
