P.S. weigh the car! I wanna know
I may end up ditching the exhaust and re doing it with bullet muflers.

I wish I had a set of scales to weigh it on. I'm hoping for 2600 to 2700lbs. From what I've been seeing on corral net, coupes like mine are anywere from 2400lbs tin canned to 3000lbs stock. 98% of them being iron blocks.

I honestly don't think the flows would be a restriction with dual 2 1/2 or dual 3" setup. I had flowmasters on my cobra when it was making 587 rwhp and made virtualy no gain in HP by swapping to a 3" setup by another company.

That and flows sound good....

The only Flowmaster LS1 catback that sounds good that you know of is on my car.

Ohh yea, JR have you thought about going to a CAT scale and get it weighed at the truck stop?

Ya, but that means putting it on a trail and all that. I don't want to dick with it unless I'm already out with it, like taking it to get wired. Maybe they guy I'm taking it to has scales.

Here's some picture to shake this thread up lol. I have to stop on the mustang this week as I have a collision repair job that came in the door. Work then play, right. It's a 91 Jaguar xks. Sweet car, 34K miles, mint inside and out. The fellow rearended a van. It's actually a very easy repair.

My 89 coupe with ls1/powerglide im finishing up right now is scaling in a 2200lbs and I think I only have about 100 pounds left of small things to finish it off ready to race. So 2400lb race weight outta be pretty easy to hook/book some killer ET's..good luck with your coupe

Dam you gutted the **** out of it. Does it have lexan windows, fiber glass doors or other panels? The power glide helps alot. What weight saving things have you done?

I managed to poke at the car a little this week. I got the new pinion mounted to the 8.8 and re measured for the drive shaft. The drive shaft is done and ready to be picked up.
I also got a few more wires ran through the fire wall and the vacuum hose for the map sensor.
And the catch can is mocked up.
I will post more pics this weekend. I hope to put in a full week on it next week.

I found a cure for my header problems. I ordered a set of Kooks 1 7/8". I hope they fit well with little to no adjustments needed. And I will be putting a larger X pipe setup on it with bullets.

So if all works out ok I will put this setup up for sale. BBK 1 3/4" with 2.5" X and flow masters dumped at axles.
