drilled shocks
drilled shocks some1 mentioned this to me and said you drill a hole in them and they will become loose 90/10 or something and the front end will be able to raise much easier and faster...any info on this? ive got about 10 sets of stock ones sitting around
They will become more loose yes, but it will be more like a 05/05 shock it will go up easy and have absolutely no pressure to help stop it from coming down hard, especially if you have to brake hard it'll nose dive like crazy, I did it when I got my new shocks to test out this method.
So the answer is yes it will pick the front end up easier and it will handle like crap and bottom out easy, you'll also bounce all over the place.

Agree, my crew chief does that on his '67. He's been doing it for 20 + years. Back before they had 90/10 shocks. As ragen mentioned, it might not be a great idea unless it's a trailer only track car.

Even better. A buddies son stole a street sign, set it up in an industrial park. He would jack up kids cars & take a picture with the tires in the air. They did front wheel drive jap crap, big trucks ect. It was hilarious.
