gutted cars
gutted cars when i go to the track, i remove pass seat and rear seats. some localls call my car gutted...
can you guys post pics of your carpetless panelss cars or those with drilled chassis? so they can see the difference that my car is not as gutted as other cars, or in fact, not classified as "gutted"

man that is crazy to call removing the seats for the track gutted . always thought gutted no hood , metal on the bottom and a milk crate for a drivers seat . i have seen folks do it though the milk crate is not safe and i do not indorse such a thing .

my camaro is all gutted and the only thing that stayed was the stock full interior.
people always thought it was all stock.
imo you should leave the seats on. or get some clothy non electric ones instead of looking for a tin can car picture to show them...

No panels, no carpet, only drivers seat, no passenger seat belts, no center console, no stereo, no extraneous wiring, no antenna, nothing in glove box, 1/4 tank of gas and a big dump before coming to the track!

You could probably put all of that stuff back on and get rid of your cat back and probably be pretty close to where you are without the theft recovery look...
My camaro is 3090 w/o me, that's with one race seat, 6 pt chromemoly bar, most of the carpeting, all the panels and no bottles in the car. I can do some more gutting of stuff like the ABS module, and of course front k-member, upper and lower arms, and full drag brakes to drop another 100-125 lbs.
People are funny like that, I ran 11.60s on 10-spokes and everybody was impressed with my cam only street car, then I put on the prostars and ran some 11.40s and everyone talks crap about how my racecar isn't that fast

haha I have the same exact problem... all i say is let me change wheels put in passneger seat and stock exhaust and its a street car.. people just dont get it
