Simple fix = Add *N I T R O U S* ![Burnout](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_burnout.gif)
Adding more converter will help on the motor but if you built this for a fast street car you race at the track it will suck *** to drive on the street.
We cruise around in our nova once in a while and it has a 6,000 stall with a power glide, granted it makes almost 800 hp N/A, but still it is just impractical driving on the street.
If you would possibly spray nitrous leave the converter, if you want a happy medium 4,500 is good I had a 4,500in my old pile 377 sbc on nitrous and it went 1.30 on the bottle, all out motor consider 5,500.

Even if he sprays a 300 shot on top of that, it will still be a dog with a little 3500 in a th350. If it was a 4l60e, he would be able to get by with the 3500, but with a th350 it is geared differently. I would do a 8" 5500 from ATI if he plans on staying on motor, or a 9" 4500 if he plans on spraying it. Between my car and ONEBADWS6's car, we have tried every combo out there and we know what works.

I'd run it first, you have a lot of stuff you can mess with right now. I wouldn't touch the headers. You can hit the track and try messing with shift points for example. Is the car dynoed tuned? If so you then try different shift points and see what mph you run. If you want a stronger NA converter you can maybe have yours redone or get a different one. Like my current Fuddle 8" is on the edge for NA and nitrous... Only went 1.48 on motor and a more motor focused converter should get me into the mid/hi 1.3's. The spray will be limited to a 100-150 shot and probably using a two step to launch it on spray since otherwise the converter might flash to 6 grand on the gas.

I sent my Converter back to fuddle i talked to John and with my car weight around 3200 with me in it and me spraying a 200 shot sometimes he thought a 4200 stall would do the trick on motor and spray i should have the stall back in a few week's i'll post up some times after march 16th im going to clay city ky for some track time.
anymore input with new info for just on motor 4200 stall ?
Thank's 408ssa3

It'll go faster on the motor with more converter, I'm not sure what you're looking for as far as info, I ran mid 10's on motor with a 4500 stall, it would have went faster on the motor with more converter and more gear, on the nitrous it worked fine, I put a 114.5" wheel base car on the bumper with that stall, 4,200 with a 200 shot should work fine I think on the nitrous, on the motor it will be slower than a 5,000+ stall.
Keep in mind which I don't recall anyone mentioning, the lower you activate nitrous the more toque it will make, yes your car will work better with a higher stall on the motor to keep it closer to the peak torque, but when you activate nitrous, that is your peak torque.
Adding 200 hp of nitrous at 4,200 is going to add a lot more torque than activating it at 5,500.
