Default NHRA rules question

I've done a search and can not find the info I need. I;m looking for the thickness of pipe used for 1 5/8 roll cage piping and the size and thickness of tubing used for back halfing a car.

.083 min for chromemoly
.118 min for mild steel

don't think there are any "rules" about the backhalving

Fireball is right about the tubing thickness as far as the moly cage is concerned. But the .118 min. mild steel cage must be DOM tubing to be the .118, otherwise it has to be .134 wall electric weld mild steel tubing due to the incosistencies in the tubing when you bend the tube it can be less than .134 in the bend. If it were me and I was going to due a cage an connectors I would do the moly. The only downfall is that it all has to be tigd.

The frame rails on a back half car have to be min. .125 wall 2X3 rectangle tube, .118 1 5/8 DOM, .134 1 5/8 Electric Weld, or .083 1 5/8 Moly to pass NHRA.
