DO YOU HAVE AN ESTIMATE OF HOW MUCH WEIGHT YOU SAVED BY DOING THAT? MY CAR IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHAPE YOUR CAR IS IN BUT I DONT KNOW IF THE WEIGHT REDUCTION BY REMOVING THE SUPPORT IS WORTH IT THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

Re: Car is down to 2400 pounds Yes...the support is gone in that picture. Just remove the foamy stuff and then remove about 6 nuts holding the metal bumper support on.

Re: Car is down to 2400 pounds Iron block, stock 4-inch bore, stock crank (new), Eagle rods (6.125), Wiseco pistons with 2cc reliefs, 232/234 cam on a 112, and a TNT kit. Backed up by a TH400 and about a 4000-4500 stall.

Todd, you should go through the car with a sanding disc and remove all the excess panel filler. That should save you about 8 pounds!!
