Default Built my own Parachute mount...

Home made, from left over roll cage, mounts to the rear bumper mounting points. Out of Curiosity, does any one else have pictures of their chute mount?

Its made out of 2 6"x6" 1/8" steel plates, 3.5' of 1 5/8" .134 wall steel tubing, a couple of gussets and some other random parts...

Also, the bumper skin goes on and the chute mount comes out exactly center of the plate. Its exactly flush with the skin of the bumper at the point that removable section. So I could either cut a hole in the plate or just pull the plate and put the chute on...

I'll try to get a few pictures of it with the skin on.

One recommendation is the chute pack needs to aim uphill so when it comes out it is caught by the air coming over the back of the dechlid.

The mount looks killer though.

Thanks, I was thinking of maybe changing the removable part to bring it closer in to the back of the car. If I change it I'll take that in mind!
