Brian...what is the advantage to buying this housing pre-made versus having you chop down an existing housing or rear end? Is there a price difference? Obviously this housing has much more adjustment options that a stock type housing.

For example, you buy an f-body rear end from Strange or Moser and then cut it back to proper width. Or order the housing already built to width?

Looks bad *** guys. Six Speed's car should look killer with it sitting lower and the meats tucked in the tubs. Getting the back end out of the air is surley gonna help

These housings are much lighter and stronger. They are also purpose built. Everything is TIG welded. All of the brackets are laser cut as well.

Also, by the time you pay for the housing and have it modified you will end up with a heavier, weaker housing that costs more.

Hey Steve, what do you think the weight difference between say a normal street Moser 9inch vs the housing like mine?

On yours it could push as high as 30 lbs lighter. Normal is between 20 and 25. Yours is narrowed quite a bit.

Thanks Steve. I was mostly asking from a street car perspective. I can completely understand the benefits for racing. Thanks for the inputs, one day I'd like a narrowed rear for a street car to allow for a zero offset wheel.

Thanks, I've been trying to gather information about this for a while. There's a lot of convoluted information spreading around about fitting a 15x12 with the stock suspension. I talked to CAMN HAWK a long time ago about it. He said he runs a 15x12 with 4 inches of BS and a rear narrowed 5.5 inches per side. I've just got to figure out all the little tricks you've mentioned to pull it off.

That's great to see you guys got it back on track so quick, I can't wait to see it run and for you guys to start kicking some butts on the track, a lot of big mouths need to be shut

BTW I think the factory bolts are 12mm, so 1/2 would be a hair bigger.
