Going to the track tomorrow, need to know the best tire pressure for stock 275/40/17 Goodyears

I'd say just drop them a little. 30 psi is about all you need on street tires.

24-28 in rears
38-44 in fronts

98TAauto is exactly right. 24psi in the back and 40psi in the front always worked best for me.

I've taken the stock F1s to as low as 20 psi. It depends on what the track will hold and how high you want to launch (I try not to go below 4K). A little experimentation is worthwhile...just don't let it bog off the line. Modest tire and clutch slip is preferable to getting these heavyweights up and moving!
