OK, a quick recap.
For the Firebird crowd we need:
1. Fog Light mounts
2. Attach to the top of the cover and replace the plastic.
3. Capacity foe a couple 'O gallon fuel cell
4. Clear a FMIC (that could be tough as there are a variety of styles.) we may need to get some measurements from a few people.
For the Camaro crowd:
1, Clear a FMIC (see Firebird comment)
2. Fit nice (All us Camaro guys are easy. Just to let you know that does not mean I am Cheap too.)
For Everyone:
1. Lightweight
2. price at or below 999,999.99 shipped with tax. (That one will be easy)
3. Rear bar would be nice.
4. I like the tow hook idea.

Also, on the fuel cell, there's a couple ways go to about it. Either make the support so that a specific aftermarket cell, say a jazz promod tyle cell will fit, something that people can pick up at a later time if they choose, or have it made so that you can specificially make the cell to fit this mount, list it as a seperate part that is available to go along with the front support, which is probably the better way to go about it, this way burnkart can make some $ building easy fuel cell's later on. Probably fit better this way too, and people could have them made with whatever they want for fuel ports, etc.etc.
Being able to utilize the stock hood latch, also something that should be able to work with both the camaro and firebird/transam support. The # of people that have the bumper support removed vs the # with a pin on hood, I'd cater for the guys that removed the support, everyone that races takes that thing out, the pin on hood, that usually comes later though, if at all for most.

Ilikethe tow hook idea but I don't know how many people would want to put a whole in the front bumper. I would rather have on come thru the fog light hole. No need to make it come out below the bumper most of these cars to low when going on trailers.
Man it is going to be tuff to make one to fit everyones need.

Saved 19# according to them. I think it was a liability reason why it was not offered for sale but i'm not 100% sure on that. I just remembered seeing one they made at some point.

I don't personally need the tow hook but a provision to add one at a later date certainly wouldn't hurt. Having foglight provisions for the LT1 part number is ok but please don't block my foglight holes. I don't run fogs and those holes help with my radiator/tranny cooler.
Come to think of it with this brace I could open up that whole front area.
Bonus.

That's was my thinking as well, with that area totally oepn, the fuel cell can go there, race car only needs to hold a few gallons anyway. Plus a little weight on the nose may help stop the car from wanting to stand up. I just put the battery in the trunk, so that's gonna weigh more then the fuel and cell would anyway.

didnt think of a rear one untill someone mentioned it, id be interested in both, dosent matter what you paint it with as long as its durable, since the body panels would be covering it anyway.
i hope you do do this and i think i would be one of the ones in line for the first batch

Chuck and I talked about it this morning. It looks to be a go. I think we will look at a base model with add on features. I'll keep you posted on developments.

I'd be interested in a Camaro front. Ability to mount a fuel cell sounds interesting, even just a few judiciously placed gussetted metal with holes in it. I like the tow hook idea too but I worry that to make it sturdy enough to pull a car means it will have to be very heavy duty.

Another vote for a camaro front with a provision (holes only?) for a cell would be great. Tow hook would also help if it didn't increase weight beyond effectiveness. It sucks getting on the ground to reach the k-member to winch it in the trailer.
