Default Rear shock question

I have a 2002 Trans Am. I'm wanting to change the rear shocks over to Comp Engineering 3 way rears. I went and looked at a set today and they are tad longer than the stock shocks. We looked it up in the Comp Engineering book and it says up to 99. What is the difference in shocks from a 99-02 and will that little extra length hurt anything? The car isn't lowered and I'm staying with the factory rear springs. If someone could help, it would be much appreciated.

CE pn#2700 3way adj. shocks should work on all 93-02 Fbody. I run them w/stock springs.Your rear springs on your should be no different than mine.

Have you had any issues with the shock bottoming out? When I compared them to a stocker, they were alittle longer. I'm not lowering my car at all, do you think I should worry about that?
