Low rpm 2-step launch settings
We have a lot of customers that run fairly low launch rpm settings (1800 to 2500) with the 2-step. We actually changed the minimum RPM settng on our early LNC-001 launch controllers because people asked for RPM settings below 2000 rpm.

Has anyone used this on a nitrous auto car?
I am asking because I wanna use this on a nitrous 4L60E car. Converting to a transbrake is to much for my taste so this would be a easy fix.
Car starts to push through while stalling up about 2700rpm. (3200 stall) I wanna stick this at 2600rpms and not have to worry about watching the light and rpm. For the nitrous we have the NOS LCD touch screen nitrous timer set at 3,000rpm engauge.
Before we had to mess with timing to comp for the nitrous and now it seems that now we can tune the best we can N/A and once this 2step is turned on we can do the timing thing.

We are considering producing a version of the LNC-002 that would have a high and low RPM setting (a true 2-step) but then it wouldn't have the timing retard features (we don't have enough inputs in the current circuit board design to do all three in one device).
any news on this?
im definitely considering running a two step (M6 S88 turbo car, want to start to make a run at the track)...
what would be more beneficial in your opinion? true 2-step and "retardability"

I have an M6 but I am thinking of installing a master arm switch, and a push button switch I can keep my finger on while in first gear, so when I pull back for second, the "launch rev limiter" feature shuts off and I'm headed down the track with the juice
thats if I can keep my finger on the button launching with the juice!

We are building around 10 of the LNC-003 launch controllers that will have two RPM limit settings but no timing retard function. We should probably have these done right after Thanksgiving. If they sell, we will make more.
What is more beneficial depends on if you need the timing retard feature or not and if you need the two different RPM setting functions.

2-step, 3-step etc
Our LNC-001R and the LNC-002 are really just single RPM setting control devices (1-steps) but are often referred to as 2-steps since the factory ECM/PCM acts as the 1st RPM step/set point and the launch controller becomes the second.
The LNC-003 actually has two independent RPM switch points so it would be a "true" 2-step.
Since the LNC-003 won't have the MAP sensor connector harness it will be a little cheaper than the LNC-002 (probably $10 less or so).

Using a low two step setting like your talking about and flashing into the converter with the progressive controller at a very low setting has worked very well for me. I LOVE my lingenfelter two step

Nitrous deactivation
I assume you are asking about the nitrous deactivation feature on the nitrous controller and not on the Lingenfelter LNC-001 or LNC-002 launch/timing retard controller because the LNC's don't have nitrous deactivation control features.

Jason, I heard that ls1 coilpacks trigger by ground but ls2 coilpacks trigger by voltage. I have a ls1 with ls2 coilpacks...Jerry Hunicutt here....thought I'd pass that "info" along

Other than the unit being properly hooked up/wired in, what other parameters from the PCM need to be active for the Rev limiter to trigger?
For instance, does TPS need to be at 100 percent? Or maybe, does the PCM Rev limit need to be reached?
