Default lexon?

anyone running lexon on the street? does it stay clear? is it like a regular window? i am going to get the scratch resistant if i do get it.
also does anyone know how much weight you save by going with the lexon kit over glass?

thanks

You mean Lexan? I have not seen anyone use it on a street car, i dont think it would be safe or legal. It would most likely turn yellow after a while if your car is in the sun alot, and i dont know how well it will seal the car in the rain. I really think you should look at other areas of the car if you want to lose a few extra pounds.

I too want more info for a DD car. What does it matter about turning yellow if you tint it and put it on the rear hatch and side windows? Why would it be illegal on the street? It has better impact resistance than glass. IT would make your vehicle safer.

Speedglass is supposed to be the best. But you will not find any thing for the windshield that is DOT approved. Which makes it illegal on the street.
