Installing pitpal cabinet on door, need help

How should I install this thing? The door seems to be hollow.....its a 08 haulmark 28' trailer....I think the side door is filled with foam.

Any ideas? I got #10 self tap screws with it but they dont bite anything other than the skin the door is wrapped in

My Pace has metal vertical bracing. I screwed the heavy stuff into that. There must be something in there for bracing??

Thats what I'm thinking too, I just need to find it somehow. There is no screws on the top or bottom just the sides.

I will figure something out tommorow, even if I have to take it apart to find out.

I did see somewhere they sell an aluminum hat channel kits to go from side to side...Might have to get that if I can't find the braces

I don't think there is a verticle brace. I think it is diagonal on most doors.

I would do two horizontal braces from the sides of the door.

Mine was the same way, I didnt put it on the door. But I have seen guys just pop rivet them on the aluminum skin.

Should have mentioned, I've had mine many years. You can see the vertical screws. It's a '90's style steel trailer.
Forget how long I've had it sorry.

Well I guess the newer trailer have "lightweight" doors.....

Found some kits if anyone needs them...
