try looking up ed quey and taking a look at their 3rd gen seat brakets. they will bolt up to the stock seat studs and you could weld another peice of angle steel for renforcement and bolt an eyelet bolt to it and use those clip on crotch straps. my kirkey seats came with brakets that wrap around the seat and bolt together for adjustments. none for back and forth though and the ed quey mounts are stationary.

I was thinking about that the other day too. You could use the slider mounts on the back and it would be completely adjustable.

i have. all you have to do is drill your own holes through the seat and through the track and use some kind of spacer in the front because the bottom of the seat is not completely flat.

I made a square frame from 1/8' by 1 1/2" flat metal. It was then drilled and bolted to the manual seat sliders. Then I used the kirkey mounts for the seats and mounted them to the frame. Measurements depend on the hip width of the seat, but mine were 17 1/8" wide by 14" long. The kirkey seat mounts bolt to the side of the seat and were purchased from summit.

that just sounds heavy and kinda defeats the purpose of the light-weight seat. it is nice to have the adjustability in a street-driven car though.

I did the same thing but once you bolt it to the manual track it makes it heavy. thats why i was happy to see someone workin on these brackets for us.

i agree with ou on that. i used the factory track to mount the seat only to get it where i wanted it. after driving the car for awhile and being comfortable with where the seat was at, i made my own mount and did away with the factory track. i will get pics of both when my camera is done charging.

Thanks for the pictures. Basically, you just add a spacer to the front to accomodate the curvature of the seat and bam. That's pretty sweet. Even if you think the stock slider weighs a lot you're still loosing a ton of weight compared to a stock 35lb cloth or 45lb leather seat.
