Default Airbag vs Drag bar?

was wondering what setup would be better on a my car. A airbag in the right rear or a full drag bar (spohn, BMR). Im kinda worried about the way the big rear bar will make my car handle on the road, also the air bag is adjustable and lighter. I have a M6, qa1's, 9 inch, 325/50/15 hoosiers, and 500ish RWHP.

My car would still twist with the bag. It would push off the bag and twist that much higher.

Big roll bars help the car leave better and handle better, it's a win/win situation, air bags are old school junk you use when you have 50 bucks vs 400.

So the rear bar wouldn't make the car tail happy during spirited driving?

I'm very happy with my Wolfe anti roll/sway bar, the car actually feels like it handles better in the curves. Its so much straighter now, no more rolling and twisting.

I used run a right rear airbag, it works until you start making more power.
Now I have the Spohn drag bar, it definately was the key to my car leaving straight.
I actually have dual airbags as well. I have stock springs out back and I use the airbags to keep the car from squatting on launch instead of stiffer springs because I drive it on the street and didn't want the rough ride.
Old school junk maybe hehe, but it works. 1.29 60' best so far.

Drag or heavy duty road racing anti roll bars all do the same thing, help keep the car from twisting. A lot of people think if you put on a big drag anti roll bar your car can't handle good, but it will handle better than stock, only thing is the drag style anti roll bars aren't designed for high cornering loads.

You could make one that's a drag style that will handle high cornering loads, you just use a little bigger tubing and larger links, rod ends and the 2 arms out of thicker material.

More rear bar makes a car oversteer more.

More front bar makes a car understeer more.

There are several sites that show the relationship of changing tire pressures, sway bars, springs, etc. on each end of the car to oversteer/understeer.
Here is one example: http://www.rallylights.com/other/stuning.htm

I disagree. If you're going to use the bags to pevent rear squat and you keep "equal" pressure in both bags it's the equivalent to running stiffer springs.
1 airbag I agree you wouldn't want to do that but 2 airbags for the above reason then yes.

i was going to run 2 bags also, but before i did i called dan@ wolferacecraft. and he told me not to run airbags. im sure you could get it to work, but i think stiffer springs would do better. stiffer springs for me!

edit": i used to run eibach drag springs and air bags=severe body roll---- wolfe w/ factory v8 springs=leaves flat
i gueass it also matters how much power you have.

I hear ya. I spoke to Spohn and they told me it was ok to run the bags as long as they were the same psi in both.
Maybe the wolfe is different, I don't know.
As long as it works right?
