Gear experts please help

Please give me some advice for my current setup. I have a H/C/I setup with a 4l60e and a TCI 4400 stall. I still have the stock rear end with 3.73 gears.

What gear will get me the most out of my setup on motor only? 1/4 mile that is..

I would go with a 4.10 gear w/ your stall for all out motor.

whats your estimated ET, and how tall of a tire. If you run a 26 inch tire with 4.10's and alot of power you could possibly run outof gear. Also it depends on your redline or rather what RPM you wanto cross the stripe at, (whatever the powerband of your motor is stock its 5800-6000 ish but mine now is 6600-6800 ish) that plays alot into gear choice as well.

I'm in the same boat right now. I run 26" tires on the stock rims, and I just switched to a 9" with 4.11's. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so I can go to the track Sunday, I'll keep you posted with my results. I have a set of Draglites too, I might have to get a set of 275/60 (28") dr's if I run out of gear.
