Bone Stock 60ft poll...
Now if you are bracket racing w/ street tires and you want to win at bracket racing w/ street tires, the smartest thing to do is to forget about your 60' and therefore track prep and just worry about being consistent by launching as low as possible.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
The Fiancee drove the car at the last track rental and busted out a 1.99 60ft and numerous 2.0x 60fts through out the day (she had 27 passes in), I made about 5 passes and 2 2.0x 60fts (track is using new compound I think because I've never seen a 2.0x 60ft in the past 7 years of going to the track), but the rest were 2.1 60fts as usual.
2.16=9.06 1/8th et @ 80.67mph (best run) then 2 days later tranny went out?
havent went back to track with new tranny but hoping to see 8.99 if at all possible.
all these times are bone stock no free mods or nething. on sumitomo htr+ tires
, then in all, i totally suck at this with a stick
, mine isn't bone stock, but it was close, my first time out with the car, i pulled off a best of 2.527, the first run was a 2.599, man do i need some major practice, i'm just worried about the rearend going south from all the nitemare stories, guess i need to step it up some.
you will get better though!
