Default Lexan or Glass Windshield?

Okay, so my winter projects are almost done. The car is filthy and had some stuff sitting on the windshield, (the bumper cover mainly). When I pulled it off the other day, I noticed a small crack in the bottom of the windshield. Don't think it'll pas tech so, which way should I go? Car sees very little street but it does see some.

If anyone has pics of their Lexan windsheilds, post em up... Don't want it too look to obvious for the limited street that it does see

I'm in the same position. How about a front windshield recommendation.

I ran a lexan windshield on mine for a couple years and it was fine, mine was street driven also. If you're serious about racing the lexan is a nice added safety feature and it drops a good amount of weight.

If you are running the speeds we run with the Black Bitch I recommend putting a support bar in. I Prefer the Speedglass from Percys.

You can run lexan or poly carbonate, both will drop about 75 pounds.

You can caulk them in but usually it is only done with very flat windows, say something like the rear window of a 72 nova, something that has to be curved that isn't premolded just right I wouldn't do it. Either way I would use screws on a windshield.

ours is glued in, windshield and hatch. You have to find a glass guy who knows what he's doing. 3M (I think) makes a urethane for plastics.
