Default Which tire?

Well wasnt getting much from the tire section so ill try here since its drag racing related. I need a tire for 16" wheel that will hook for 4k stall. I wanted m/t et radials but cant get them. How would the other m/t street tire work? or some other ideas?

Work better than what you have, I ran the 26x11.5 ET Street on my stock 16" rims it hooked ok, but I am a 6 Speed.

look into the Hoosier radials if u are only gonna only run them at the track, i heard they stick like a basterd but wear quick because of such a soft rubber compound

I dont see how those et street radials hook harder than et streets. Make sure im understanding this, the first set of m/t vs the 2nd set. http://www.speedinc.com/catagory.cfm...ls%20/%20Tires

Man up and order 325's

To the OP, I have heard the M6 guys have better luck with the Hoosiers. However, I was cutting 1.52's on a 26x10.5/16 ET Street

I LOVE the 255-50-16 ET street radials

I may sell mine with 18-20 1/8th mile passes on them and 125 miles from driving to and from the track 3 times. Other than that the are 90% new

I pick up a set of 15" prostars this weekend from a buddy of mine and will look to sell my other tires if the deal goes through...

PM me an offer if you are interested and I can send some pics this weekend

I think you should hold off on tires. Take those 28x9's I gave you and see what you're RPM's are on spray. You have 3.42's right?

I have the BFG Comp TA Drag radials. They held a 2300 rpm clutch dump today for a 2.13 60. I know thats not good but it was my first time out in the car and didnt want to get to aggressive. I dont know how they would work for you though. Im trying to decide if I want to get them again or not.

BTW they were 255/50 16.

People have been 7's/ 8's on bfg's, will they hold a 4,000 stall yeah, will they hold more power than pretty much any one has one here, sure with a tuned chassis.

People have run those tires with 1,500+ hp, so they will work for you to assuming you have your chassis setup right.
