You're telling me...lol

I went back and looked at the slips and on my 12.4 pass I had a 1.83 60'; 1/8th 7.98 @ 89 mph and 12.4 @ 109.00 mph-

On my 12.5 pass I had a 1.98 60'; 1/8th 8.12 @ 88 mph and 12.52@ 111.94-
On my 12.6 pass I had a 1.90 60'; 1/8th 8.16 @ 88 mph and 12.6 @110.95-

*With that being said I'm trapping higher with an et above 12.4 but bogging on my 12.4 pass.

What is your torque arm set at? I went from a 10 bolt to a 12 bolt and my time was 11.6 put a k & n fipk, took my from bump stops off, lowered the rear end took the spring isolaters out and put a piece of rubber hose around the first coil. went from a 60.ft of 1.67 to a 1.54 and ran a 11.17 at120.00 mph vs my 115 I was running before. Im sure I had my torque arm in a bind and I lowered the back off the car. Your need to measure the back of your cars fender from the center of the wheel to the ground and do the same in the front. And see if your rake is to much I had 4 inch diff. from the back to the front. now im within 2 made a huge difference. http://www.rosslertrans.com/Pinion%20Angle.htm setting for t.arm could be your tune too. and launch at 5000rpm. If you put a 12 bolt in from a 10 bolt your a raising the cars rear but a couple of inches so that throws off the whole suspension.

Well the shop that does all the work on my car installed the torque arm so I have no idea what it's set at. I would think that they would've set it up correctly since they installed the torque arm and the 12 bolt at the same time. I never thought about the new rear raising up the car any like that....I'll check when I get off work to see what the difference is from the front to the back.

I'm putting my car back on the dyno to get retuned again on Monday. I'm putting in a custom spec'd cam so I'll see what the new numbers will be with it but I'm going to look into some new shocks and removing the front swaybar.

*Note to self for next trip to track: Adjust psi in tires, launch harder and shift the hell out of it.

I think with new front shocks, no front sway bar, and proper torque arm settings...that thing should hook pretty good.

i have close to the same setup at u just i have stock gears and was spraying a 75 shot with no bottle psi ( so it really wasnt even spraying that much) and i ran a 12.1 at 115mph with a 1.7 60ft. missing 3rd. i ran 22psi in my 26 10.50 et streets launching at 3500. so u should be in the 11s. how old is ur clutch?

You should listen to everyone in here, then take a deep breath, and realize you need to work on three things... finding your lost mph, cutting a better 60ft, and running your desired 11.9.

First thing I think is figure out optimal shift points. So you should run a few passes just working on that. Try what you normally do, and go higher and keep track. Eventually you should find a good sweet spot. When I see 109mph I always check to make sure you are not short shifting, which you probably are. You can have a terrible launch and still run strong on the top end.

Next, if you are gonna change tires, go ahead and do it. If you are going to use slicks then keep the dr's for the street.

I have a ls7 clutch for now and it's only a few months old, I'm running full weight at the track minus spare tire and I also have a kicker sub in the back w/ an amp. I've moved to Germany so drag racing isn't the biggest thing here, but we do have a 1/4 strip that I'll work on my shift points at and also I am changing the tires to slicks. I'll also play around a little on the Autobahn with the shifting part.

*I made the post to find help with the problems... I'm not complaining about what people are saying, or getting pissed off about what is getting said. Thanks to all that have posted.

I'm probably close to that with me in the car...but you think 3.90's over 3.73's would make that much of a difference? I'm looking into shocks, springs, etc to upgrade.

With the mods being listed I got 404 rwhp on the dyno (did not have 12 bolt at time of dyno). The best pass I have made is a 12.3 @109 w/1.90 60' and 1/8th mile is normally 8.1 @ 86mph (other passes were 12.4-6 @109-110 w/ 1.9x 60'). I normally get around a .600 or so light. I run the m/t's at 15psi and and I heat the m/t's up for a few seconds then roll through to the light and launch around 3500-4000rpm . It doesn't sound like it bogs but it does spin just a little on take off and I'm shifting around 6000-6300 rpms. I don't miss a shift and I'm not granny shifting. I am moving up to a bigger camshaft so I wanted to see what I could get out of the 224 first. I am at full weight (weight actually unknown). Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do besides maybe a driver mod? I think we're only like 164ft here. Should I change the psi in the tires? Launch a lot harder? Launch softer? Shift sooner or later? All input is appreciated. I was pulling a 12.8 @ 115 on street tires so I'm lost! What are you guys launching at to achieve such low 60's and 11's.

Thanks.

Here's your problem all your mods are choking for air.

A person could have the fastest street car in the world but still run 13s. How much drag experience do you have? I'd experiment with launches.
