My hood should be here any day now from what VFN said.. I will get pics as soon as I get it on the car.
I am not looking forward to mounting it thats for sure.. You can't use the regular zues fasteners brackets from what i can tell because the inside of the fender has that rail that sticks out about a half inch and runs from front to back of the fender. You need a flat spot to mount the "L" brackets that the Zues fasteners sit in. Most people on here make a rail out of round tubing and weld their Zues fasteners to it and then bolt the rails to the inside of the fender using the factory fender bolts. I wish someone would make me a set of rails and ship them to me.. I do not have the tools to make something like that..

I got my from VFN and it fits pretty good but, I wish the very front of the hood was about an inch longer. I haven't really messed around with it but, I think I can pull the front nose up a little

You should be a lot better off, First of all my car is really a 93 and I just slapped that clip on without doing anything. Over all its a nice hood but, for $458.00 is hard to get over that inch

That's wierd mine fits extremely well and doesn't have that inch gap like you have.

Paul you are local, Armando at VFN will help you out if it's a little short for some reason, give him a call (though they will help anyone with fitment issues). Since you changed the front clip from an LT1, make sure you adjust the sheetmetal first and make sure the nose is not sagging.

VFN makes very good products. The body shop that painted mine said that they refuse to even work with most aftermarket hoods due to the horrible fitment. They were almost amazed at how well mine lined up.
