Stiffen the rear shocks and put a anti roll bar on it.. Leave the rear springs alone.. Tire pressure is fine..

I would have to agree it sounds like the rear shocks are set to soft. The tire pressure seems about right and the front shock setting is fine.

Thanks Lee. I appreciate the help even though I have none of your parts. Though I do need to get an anti roll bar to replace my spohn as I looked at a friends and yours leaves much more clearance for the shock adjusters.

It did that once.... its seems to run a 11.46 @ 116 w/ 1.59 60'

The thing is the car squats like a SOB. I wish I had some pics, but do not. What should I look at or change? Any suggestions? TYIA

I would personally try no more than a -2 pinion angle, and try the LCA's on a factory setting, and then go from there. It sounds like the transfer is almost too much...Moving your LCA's up will reduce the squat effect and increase your forward movement...Then play with your shock adjustment if necessary.

Your mph seems very low for 450 rwhp.I have 451 rwhp n/a and I trap 127.(you are only 200 lbs more than me)Something seems off to me.
I think a 1.52 60 ft is great for a car that traps 116

I know the traps are low. I am guessing that has to do with being over-tire(d) (28"tall tire) and undergeared (3.70). Does that seem accurate?

I really need to find someone that knows what they are looking at in the tune. I haven't had anyone with much trans knowledge look at it yet. Im wondering if that is hurting the MPH?

You are running the Vindicator 240/244 cam?

I run 28 degrees of timing and Ron told me to shift around 7000. I am running a 4.10, and am 250-300 lbs lighter. More gear would help and more converter too. I was running a 4800 and just went to a 5500. I'm hoping to run 125-126 traps now.

Yes John that is the cam I am running. I have the car shifting at 6800. and pretty sure I have the same amount of timing. I just called PTC to find out where they put my converter at, I want to say its a 4000. I am looking for optimum performance on spray. I know I would be leaving some on the table keeping the lower stall speed but am thinking 4400+ would be too much converter for the nitrous.

Okay so we are running the same heads and cam. My old Fuddle 4800 was good on spray and motor, 1.38 and 1.48 respectively. My new ATI 5500 is too much for a 150 shot I'm guessing, but I'll try it.

Really ? Hmm I may have to pull my trans back out. Im not sure how different that is going to be coming off a foot brake 4L60 to a T Brake TH400. I really want to put a 400 in, but dont have the funds right now.

Elmer (NHRAFormula00) is running a 4L60E with a Yank and he's gone 10.5@127mph with H/C and stock bottom end. I think he said he's 3125 raceweight, seems to work pretty good. Are you looking to get 'er into the 10's on motor?

For a street / strip I'd go TH400, if you're going to strictly drag race and add more power glide is the way to go.

I loved my n20 SBC and th400 T/B

I would like to, but not a top priority for me. This engine is something to get me by while the big engine is being planned and built. I just want to the car to be consistent as I have joined points here at Norwalk this season.
Getting the car in the 10's would not be a bad thing ... not sure how doable that is at my race weight.
