MADMAN what's the update on that monster, when is the next race and new videos coming?

The new motor is at the shop. We are trying sell some spare parts, our wives and children to finish the project. I need to build headers and we need to get a new intake built, then we will be back. The new motor should make ALOT more power.

Am I the only one who prints out threads that Madman posts in frequently and use them to wallpaper my shop with????/ So I can refer to the "knowledge" later.....

Cause lately everything he says I stand up and listen. Brian I'm getting my car scaled in a week. Anything I should tell the chassis guy about weights that are specific to an f-body???? He does 7 second tube chassis and 4 link car setups all the time so i'm wondering if it's like apples and oranges putting a suspension tune on my car. The shock settings, pinion angle, ta angle, and all that I got from you.....

Oh one more question is how soon before you engineer an anti-rollbar or drag race swaybar???? Which one do you endorse currently since you don't produce one yet???? I had a wolfe but it's broken now so i just ordered the BMR extreme...... What does the black bitch have on it for anti-roll????

appreciate it man.

From what I remember reading paco's is over 700"

It's pretty tight under the hood from the photos I have seen, that's why I am ditching my front towers, if you go BBC tall deck is the way to go, big inches make additional power so you don't even have to lean on it.

600"+ motor on pump gas will make 800 hp on pump gas without even stressing it. All out race you're talking 1000-1200 on motor with race gas before you even hit the button.

I'm thinking a 615, little smaller bore than 632 with same stroke. I am going to go 10.5-1 run it on pump gas with a little spray, then down the road run a blower or turbos and run alky and hope I don't kill myself lol.

I did have to shave the shock towers. The motor comes out of the car so easy that we just pull the motor if it needs service. The motor made 80 passes and it was decided to put rods in it other than that its never been hurt making 4.90 sec 1/8th mile passes.

nice... i may go ahead and decide to shave my towers a bit just for more room to wiggle my hands around in there... hell, there arent any rules that i know of in stock suspension classes that says no cutting of shock towers allowed...

4.90 in any type chassis car is tooting along pretty good...

is he running a index class or are you having a hard time keeping it hooked? i figured with the motor, kits, and race weight it should be able to go faster than brady's car...

paco's car is definately an interresting car to say the least.... im not so sure its worth all the extra work for me to make a tall deck fit.... the biggest issue i can see is headers...

right now we have a 2455 chevelle header that cost 155$ thats mocked up in the car right now... all we had to do was cut the driver side collector flange off and trim the firewall on the passenger side...

i may stick with the 565 and 24* canfields for a while...

You're obviously new to the racing game so I'll break it down for you. You have no idea how much money and hard work is involved with racing. If you've got anything negative to say about anybody, keep it to yourself, because until you've been there and done that, the only thing you're allowed to do is shut the hell up.

Pacos car doesnt make more power than the Black Bitch. He also didnt spend $70,000.00 on the motor. Pacos car will hook on an ice skating rink. He averages 60fts in the 1.2s. Its power management with all the different kits.
