Kirkey's all the way.......I've got Intermediate Road Race Seats in mine with doulbe locking sliders and an adjustable back brace (similar to above, but home made) and by they are very comfortable, supportive and allow you to sit lower in the vehicle for more headroom. The back seats are just about worthless in these cars. Any fixed back seat will all but make it impossible to get back there for most people (kids included) anyway. If drag racing is your deal, get the Pro street drags just as comfy. My kirkey is much more comfortable both on the street and on the track then the Recaro's they replaced.

I woulnd't waste the $ on corbeau's, you mine as well leave the stock seats in the car because they're not much of a weight saings from the stock ones, and for the $ it's really not worth it. You can buy 2 kirkey's and the brackets to mount them for less then one corbeau seat will cost you, and they 2 together will weigh probably 3/4 of what one corbeau seat weigh's

Put it like that, and it seems like a simple choice.

Don't let anyone tell you kirkey seats aren't comfortable, because anyone that says that hasn't sat in one.

I haven't sat in one either. I just thought by looking at and sitting in the corbeau's they would be more comfortable. They do look better though.

im sure the corbeaus would be more comfortable but the main reason i asked is because the car will be a show car when its not on the track and i figured teh corbeaus might look great but i dont think its going to be worth the extra weight. its not like i plan on driving the car on the high way or anything either. the cars gunna gunna be built to run high 8s or low 9s with a procharged lt1. im on a waiting list to get my cage done so i figured what the hell i might as well buy some seats and stuff in the mean time.

If you're planning on going fast, put a good set of race seats in it. Show and go is cool, noone's gona knock you for putting a set of kirkey's in a car that runs in the 9's or better.

Plus they will get you lower in the car and get youe head away from the cage, which is a good thing, and if you take the time to polish the back of the kirkey where the seat cover isn't covering them, they do look real nice. Someday if I ever get really bored, I'll wet sand mine, see how they come out, I'm guessing they'd look pretty sweet that way.
