Default corbeaus or kirkys?

hey guys i need to finally get my seats so you tell me what you think. its primarily going to be a track car but will see a lot of car shows and a little street driving. i was thinking either go with the kirky drag seats or the corbeu fx1 pro series seats. what do you guys think?

You can't go wrong with the Kirkeys. They're really light and actually kinda comfortable. Plus they make your car look faster, lol.

X2 on the Kirkeys. I have had them in multiple cars and love them. ProStreet ones have the most padding and are a little more comfortable. And can't beat them for the money.

Also a big fan of kirkeys, relatively inexpensive as well. I added more foam under the stock amount and they are very comfortable.

The back of the seat is suppose to be welded/attached to the cage so having it mounted on sliders is pointless.

Not really. You can have those rear cross bar mounted sliding things too. That way your seat is completley adjustable. That's my plan once I get some money.

That adjustable piece is a neat item, but putting anyone in the back would be very unsafe with that there, it's like a spear to impale their head in the head in the event of a crash.

I mounted my kirkey right to the floor using the stock back 2 studs, and then the cage with 2 more bolts. I know nhra says it has to be mounted to the floor with 4 bolts, but if you felt how solid it is I don't think they're ever going to know.

Worse case I'll have my fab guy make another bracket to go from the front of the seat up to the other 2 studs, but it's senseless, I"m strapped into the seat by a harness that's attached to the rear bar and the floor, only way the seat could move is if I do and I pull the straps tight, I"m locked on, so is the seat

You can mount them up on stock non power sliders and those things I posted to have a fully legal and adjustable seat.
