question for those with Flaming River pinto manual racks
I bought a Flaming River Pinto rack from someone parting out a 2000 Camaro that they were building as a race car on Ebay.
I got the rack today.
I am going to buy a PA Kmember with pinto mounts, what about the steering shaft? How will it connect? Flaming river told me the one I have is 9/16 26 spline. Do I have to have a different shaft or will the stock shaft work?

You will need a new u joint to fit on the rack. They are kind of pricey, I bought mine at the lsx shootout last year from Chris Alston. I then bought a piece of tubing that would fit into it and then cut the bottom part off of the factory shaft and welded the new tube to the factory shaft. I hope this isn't too confusing.
I guess an alternative would be to buy one from Madman or from BMR.
Good Luck.
