Long 1/2 in Stud Question

Long 1/2 in Stud Question I got the long 1/2 in. studs with my new moser 9" from EPP and they stick out past my stock wheel about a 1/4 in. or so. Do any of you guys know of some caps I can screw on to the the end of the studs or some really long lug nuts to fit these? I just don't want to see the bare stud.

.250 " past the stud is hardly noticeable, and if you want it to be track legal they need to be able to see them. You could maybe go to the hardware store and look for some kind of 1/2 plug that may fit over them, but it will be hard to get off.
I would check with the sfi rules and actually see how much thread has to stick out past the end of the stud and you could machine them down some, but also remember if you ever change rims and the centers are thicker or lugs are taller and the thread doesn't stick out past the end you won't be track legal.
Personally I think 1/4" past the lug nut is a pretty good fit.

I just want something to cover them up for street use. I was thinking about the hardware store also.

I had a similar problem when I switched rearends. I ended up cutting off the extra stud with a cutting wheel(on a hand grinder) and left a 1/4" sticking out past the nut. Then just cleaned up the threads on the end. Worked out pretty slick. What nuts are you using?
cut them off till you get drag wheels then studs are only i think 25 bux...buy another set you can stick stock lug covers on....then for drag wheels change out the studs and your leagal...its only 10 bolts lol
