Low slung Wolfe door bars?
Anyone have a problem with tech, when using these door bars? I know I'm taking a chance, but has anyone caught any flak at the track with these?

A friend of mine was kicked out for running sub 11.99 a few years back [when the rule was 11.99 for a 5 pnt. bar]
From what I understand, according to the NHRA rule book, the side bar has to cross the drivers shoulder and ankle.
This is exactly why I got a custom cage. This way I know I wont get hassled, because my local tracks are very **** about that.

How the hell can the bar cross the ankle? My Ankle is all the way up on the pedals with my feet and toes last i checked. Seems like a weird refrence point. Do you care to explain a little more?
I run a Stenod 8pt with a small bend in it. I have never been questioned, but my car isn't very fast IMO.

Mine are a little low, but the seat is on the floor so it helps let me get away with it. If I put my arm strait down next to me the bar is above where my elbow is, only because of where the seat is. But, I'm a big gorilla LOL... hell with my helmet on the SFI padding touches my helmet when I am sitting in the car on the halo (10 pt now), so I have to get used to that, or move the seat over towards the middle an inch or 2 if I can, but I dunno if there's enough room to move a 17 inch kirkey over any
