When Braket Racing do you like to chase down or be chased?
Always dial what you KNOW your car can run, you can always slow down, you can't speed up. Works for me.

I had throttle issues this weekend, so I was bagging ~4 all night. Got me down to 10 where I cut a .000 light and my pinion decided it didn't want to live anymore
(other guy is .030). If you learn to drive the big end and tree the guy by .01 you can win just about any race if you bag.I didn't do it but this year I ran the same guy twice, had .01X lights and 1 above but he was the same on the bulb and bagging so he took the W. It's part of the game.

Usually I am being chased, and, they never catch me. 
Or, sometimes I get stuck with Ritter (he drives a Crown Vic) and he runs 14.2 in the 1/8 so I have to be patient for a long time before I get my tree. I feel great when I get the green because it means I have a tremendous amount of patience and am able to still beat him at the end when he got a 1/2 track head start!
