Default Spohn 1" sway bar, will it be enough?

I'm ordering a rear sway bar in a few weeks to help control the car better on the launches. I am going to start daily driving the car again in a few months and need to know if this sway bar is beefy enough for high 1.3 60fts.? It might not ever see that as heavy as the car is but it has gone low 1.4s before.

Your going to have to play with cutting the link spacers to preload it. Otherwise, your still probably not going to leave flat. I would have rather saved my money for an adjustable bar.

I had one of those bars a while back, it was a definate improvment over the stock bar, but it's no drag swaybar that I can tell you.

For a street car that sees the track, yes not a bad move, for a car that sees alot of track, and you are making enough power to need the chassis preloaded, it's not gonna cut it.

I have this same bar on my car and I go high 1.3 60fts. Bolton LS1 with a dry shot in the air lid and 275/60 drag radials. I simply bolted it up. No modifying whatsoever. Car leaves straight.

^^^she may leave straight but she's twisted.
More power you make it will get worse.
I have the spohn dragbar, if you can return the 1" then do it, otherwise you'll probably have to run a passenger side airbag to preload that side.

I might have to wait and get the adj. sway bar. Is there any welding to be done on the spohn or BMR unit?

I'm subscribing to this one. I cut high 1.3's on a stock sway bar, but my car is twisting like chubby checker. It twists to the point that it unloads the driver side tire if I have less than 30 psi in the passenger bag. This bar seems like a good alternative for me, as there aren't any chassis shops up here that I would trust to weld a drag bar on for me.

TRZ you still need tabs welded on, but it's a nice looking piece.

There is some welding yes, where the endlinks bolt up to the frame you bolt them in like the stocker but then you weld the brackets as well.
You can install the bar yourself then just drive over to a repair shop, muffler shop etc. and ask them to weld the brackets for you if you don't weld.

There is some welding involved with our anti-roll bar but nothing terribly complicated. This system has produced 1.19 60' times and mid 7 second time slips.

With a the BMR drag bar, can the car still handle well with a proper front swaybar?

By handle do you mean DD? Yes. IF you get the BMR extreme sway bar, and the BMR front sway bar your car will handle fine for commuting purposes. Wouldn't suggest you do any road racing, but it is safe on the street.

I'd get the BMR rear drag bar, 1.3's for me, and it leaves room for the adjustment ***** on drag shocks.
