Who is going RACING this week? Who is going racing this week?
I'm going to Pittsburgh Raceway Park tonight to test out my new Mizziere water pump. I don't think it will pick me up ET wise but it will cool the engine between rounds.
Does anyone think I will pick up any ET from the water pump?
I'm also going to log in some runs on my new TAG weather station. This will be the first time I use it and I want to get ready for the BIG races this weekend. Saturday, August 16 Two jet cars Rock N Roll Thunder and the Silver Bullet, PLUS Supercharged Thunder-8 race cars-Double 8 Gassers & Altereds Nostalgia Coupes-Racing at it's finest!
Gates open at 1PM, Time Trials at 3PM and Eliminations at 6PM
Anyone else going racing? Let us know what's up.

Had a great time! Air was the ***** (2225 ft DA) and I ran with 17's and street tires all around, closed cutout, 1LE swaybar on and made a pass hot off the street (didnt even turn off the car): 12.4@118.85mph on a 2.29 sixty LOL!
No traction till the third but it was a lot of FUN

Re: Who is going RACING this week? I'm going tonight. Going to test out the burnout advice I've been getting on here. Hoping for the 12s. I think I need to get around a 2.0 60' time for it to happen. Been averaging about 2.35 60's running 13.6-13.7. I guess I'll see later tonight.

Saturday is National Dragster Challenge night (2nd attempt after 1st was a rain-out
Hopefully I can cut something better than a friggin 050 light this time!

Re: Who is going RACING this week? im heading out to ennis tomorrow night (fri) the air has been ok down here but im looking for 11.1's, ill take 11.1's all day in this weather and lookout 10s in good weather cam only

It is football season and we have a scrimage this Saturday and film on Sunday. Plus the tranny is not fixed just yet in the 1969 camaro. :p
I will be back in action next Saturday at our 2nd to the last points race before the World Bracket Finals Sept. 19, 20 & 21.
Good luck and post up your results.
