I'm still plagued with not so great 60-foots (1.65) are LCA relocation brackets worth something in the short times?

Usually if the car is lowered they help correct LCA angle. I am not sure on a non lowered car. What is your pinion angle set at? Cecil usually hooks like a bastage and I know you race there pretty frequently

Chris.. you need to add "Use to" in front of that. My car dead hooks nearly everywhere... spins it a$$ off at Cecil anymore... ...Cecil usually hooks like a bastage and I know you race there pretty frequently..
My car is lowered and they helped me get to a 1.56 60ft with a lift of the frt wheels on launch. My previous best was 1.62.
Not sure about on stock ride height cars, but i think they are a must for lowered cars.

I haven't raced at cecil on a saturday in quite some time. Wed/Fri prep is not as good I don't think
I'm at -2 degrees now. I may go a bit more agressive on the Pinion angle as well

I'm in the same boat as you FB, I am lucky to pull a 1.69 60's. but I average 1.72 to 1.74
I know if I can get into the high 1.5's I can run a 10.9x with my 346ci NA.
Here is what I currently have:
LG HD Torque Arm
Rear HAL/QA1 Shocks
BMR Boxed SFC
Front HAL/QA1 Shocks & Springs
!Front Sway Bar
15x10 Bogarts w/ ET Streets
This is what I think is hurting me:
Stock LCA
Stock Panhard Bar
Stock front wheels and radial tires
Running the ET Street @ 18 psi
Just ordered a set of Bogart skinnies so I can ditch the front wheels & tires, they are pretty heavy. I have to run 18psi in the ET Streets otherwise with the front radial tires I'm all over the track. I came close to wrecking in the wall with 15psi ET Streets and 275/40-17 radials in the front. The skinnies should let me be able to run 10psi with no problem.
Anyway aside from the tire issues, I am looking to get some after market LCA's and use the relocation brackets as well. Supposedly a lower rear LCA along with a negative pinion angle, is supposed to plant the tires straight into the ground.
What are currently running on your car for suspension?

im assuming that you guys have ganked the front swaybar as well? the brackets helped me out tremendously. the car would absolutely hate it w/o them. i/e. not hooking anywhere. i could spin my 28X12.50's on concrete at a 3k launch. (yes that gay...)
now, with them, it leaves on the worst roads conditions, even on F1's
huge improvement correcting the LCA angle. great mod imo,

you guys know that there are supposedly fittment issues w/ the BMR stuff on 12 bolts right? can anyone confirm this for sure? just what i've heard.
i went with the spohn's for that reason and love them. best 80 bucks i've spent on the car yet. just a heads up.

thunder has said they have no issues with the "weld in" brackets on any rear. boltons only work with 10 bolts you guys know that there are supposedly fittment issues w/ the BMR stuff on 12 bolts right? can anyone confirm this for sure? just what i've heard.

Yea I just got some BMR brackets weled on my Strange 12 bolt and they fit fine. I couldn't tell you if they helped because when I went to MIR on Sunday my fuse blew again and I only got a 1,82 60 ft. spinning.
Also did any body elses rear move back after they put the brackets on? I'm asking because mine moved back a 1/4 inch. and my 27" QTP's rubbed the bottom of my bumber.

Launching!
Brian, drop your adj LCAs into the bottom hole in the relocation brackets (welded), and re adjust the lcas length to center, then set your pinion angle at -2.5 or -3 at the most. The key is to get the Spohn arm and new LCA angle to work together to throw the rear down hard at launch. This works because Spohns arm is shorter than stock and has it's own mounting member. 1.4x in the bag !
