Decomissioned: Turbocharged 3rd Camaro
Hey guys I know a lot of you on this forum and have raced with some of you for the past oh 5 years or so now.
I thought Id post this up and say that Im getting out of my turbocharged IROC. Im parting the thing out and making back as much of my investment as I can.
Most of it revolves around the fact that Im 25 and still live at home and I feel that it is time for me to strike out on my own. While heads up racing is fun and my car has been quite a project, it has also been quite an investment as well and most of the parts are some of the best of what they are.
I can recoupe a lot of what I have spent and most of it is already finding a home in a friend's car so watch out for another fast turbocharged 3rd gen down the road.
Im not sick of cars but this one sure has wore on me and the money I can make out of it to pay some debt and get me where I need to be sure is appealing.
It's been fun guys.
Another heads up racer going bottom up. LOL

I pulled the heads off after the N vs S race and just got them torqued down last week. LOL See how motivated Ive been? It was even before the race I lost motivation. Its been building for quite some time.

Curt give me call on my cell, or hop on to AIM later tonight sometime after 9:30, I should be home from work by then.
the shortblock, turbo, headers, intercooler, speed pro and injectors are all spoken for at the moment.

Yes I can. Im enjoying the trouble free drive back and forth to work for a change. Its nice to not be messing with something. That may change down the line but for now, its staying as it is.

Curt, I'll be at work rest of the day so you can either call my cell or you can call my work 317-895-8616, when ever you want. Want to see if some stuff is still around.

Ive started racing the LS1. I need to get the hang of launching, and shifting, a stick car. LOL it IS fun though.
Best ET??

I have no desire to mod the thing. I bought it with a small cam and headers on it already. I just cant drive a lick. LOL
its fun just driving around. And it was fun to pull into the track after cruising with the AC on, fill out card and get in line with a helmet in the back seat. I sure do miss those days. Now they are back.
