Default TH350 vs T56

Ok guys need I need to know if it would be worth it. I want to remove my t56 set-up and go to a TH350 with trans brake and all the goodies. The car will hold its own at 10.7 at 131mph with a 1.5ish 60 ft. The current set-up is alum flywheel, madman susp, 550+hp na, and 4.56 gears oh and full race wieght of 3660. Would it be worth going to the auto? The car sees street time but not much just want the thing to be all it can be!!!!!

You will gain more consistancy, possibly get your 60' foot down with the right stall, and repairs are generally cheaper.

I don't regret switching from an M6 to TH350 at all. Unless you are running 30" tires, you may want to re gear for the 1/4 mile. You will also lose MPH, but will probably run .2-.3 faster. Just remember, vacuum modulation = slow.

Might try more chassis tuning, 1.5 is slow for 131 mph, that should be a 10.20-10.30 or so pass and the 60ft's should be in the 1.3-1.4 range, 1.5 60fts are for a car that is in the mid 11's, once you're running 10's you should be hitting 1.4 60ft's.

The TH350 is a good deal lighter than the TH400, but the 400 will be a good deal stronger, depending on future goals you may want to consider a 400 if you're going to go auto and plan to pick the car up later in power.

I went 10.95 @ 122 with a 1.55 60ft after I switch to a TH350. I don't know what is wrong with this damn car

Are you leaving on the spray? If you bump up to a 4K+ stall, those 60 times will melt away like butter.
