Strange shock help needed!

Default Strange shock help needed!

Don't know exactly how to work these double adjustable guys. Which **** is which? And where is a good starting point for them both (front and rear)? My car is 3630 with me in it and has 300lb springs up front if it makes any difference.

Any help is much appreciated. Heading to the track on Friday (the 5th).

with them off the car pull the shock out with the **** all the way one way...then all the way the other...youll know which is which....do the same going in with them...
then i marked mine...and marked which way was looser and which was tigher

the round knurled **** is the bump(compression) valve. the bigger **** with the points on it is for the rebound(extension).

Thanks! I played with them last night and the "spots" they stop in aren't allllllll that obvious. I tried to set all 8 ***** to "5" which seems to be the middle for them. I assume turning them clockwise stiffens the setting.

Any adivce for a starting point? Any advice for adjusting them between passes?

Yes clock wise stiffens. Start at 2-3 on extension, 5-6 on compression

yup, it should be really easy to tell with the springs off of the shocks moving them by hand.

jounce the suspension by lifting and pushing on the body. to feel the rebound valve lift the car. to feel the bump valve push down. you should be able to feel the difference in the valving when you make a change.
