Strange shock help needed!

Strange shock help needed! Don't know exactly how to work these double adjustable guys. Which **** is which? And where is a good starting point for them both (front and rear)? My car is 3630 with me in it and has 300lb springs up front if it makes any difference.
Any help is much appreciated. Heading to the track on Friday (the 5th).

with them off the car pull the shock out with the **** all the way one way...then all the way the other...youll know which is which....do the same going in with them...
then i marked mine...and marked which way was looser and which was tigher
