Get a 28 because I have learnt one thing about the 26's. The more side wall the better!

For the record I could cut a 1.60 60' on 26" tire and a 3.42 on bone stock gear, suspension, and shocks, he will be fine!

you need some double adjustable AFCO's front and rear. They will help you fine tune your suspension for any track condition. Also, your pinion angle should be at -2. If you're interested in getting some AFCO's , give me a call at the shop and we'll get you set up. Phone number is in my signature.

You don't NEED AFCOs all the way around. There are several people here turning 1.4-1.6 60 ft times on Strange DA front shocks and the 3-way adjsutable Competition Engineering $40 rear shocks.

Strange DA shocks and 300lb springs.
Competition Engineering rear Drag shocks.
Stock springs in the rear.
Reset Pinion angle to -2.
Try a shorter burnout.
