I am ordering some Greg Weld 15x3 front rims and am curious what everyone is running. i am just concerned about the speed rating on some of the tires I've seen people running. What will be a good setup for weekend driving and track running.

I drive the M/T ET Fronts.. I know they are not for highway use but they seem to do alright.
Before them, I had Sears Guardsman 165r15 LOL they were cheap and they worked, but not designed for the weight they were supporting or the speed they were going. Never had a problem thought. They still sitting in my garage... I should prolly get to of them LOL

I have moroso DS2s and I've driven them on the street. They're not DOT approved but they drive OK. I would absolutely not reccomend them for daily driving or regular street use. I'm sure they're terrible in the rain too. I've had MT sportsmans before but they're a little heavier and they're kinda loud. If DOT approval and actual tread are important to you, get the sportsmans. If it's for racing only, get some real drag skinnies like an ET front or DS2.

MT makes Sportsman radial (heavy); Sportsman Bias 8 ply (lighter); Sportsman Bias 4 ply (lightest)
8 ply is for a full weight car; however, many run a 4 ply on a full weight even though it's not recommended.
