Default Cleaning your rear quarters after track day?

I have a bunch of rubber stuck on the back from doing burnouts and I spend like an hour having to clean that **** off with a flimsy brush, sponge, and car wash soap. Is there any easy ways to do it or safe chemicals you guys recommend?

Nail polish remover works great and your thumb nail.

IF you can get it clean, then heavily wax the area and get the rubber off before a week passes.

Turtle Wax makes this stuff called "Bug and Tar" remover. I've cleaned several cars after they have gone to the track (both strip and road courses). It works great. You spray it on, let it sit for about 30 seconds to a minute, and then wipe it off with a microfiber towel.

All kinds of things you can do:
-Put some masking tape behind the tire, then just peel off the mess after the track
-Put turtle wax on and don't buff it off, the rubber won't stick to it
-Vasoline, take your fingers and put a thin film of it behind the tires... the rubber won't stick, but wipe it off after the races. Dust clings to it.

Beyond that, it's just a PITA to clean it right off the paint.

I use stuff called ultimate detailer, its like aerosol armor all, spray the 1/4s before I make passes then wipe it (and the rubber) off with a soft paper towel when done, rest of it comes off when you wash the car and doesnt hurt the paint at all.

93 octane will take it right off too, little bit in a spray bottle, let it sit for a few min, and then start wiping. it will smear, and you will have to do it a couple times (I do, but then again I clean the rubber off my car once a year so I'm in a little different situation, I have about 10 times more then the average guy) but it works and doesn't mess with the paint.

rubbing alcohol works well, it will smear it at first so you have to go over it a couple times, but it cuts right through it.

The best stuff I have found to get it off is "3M Adhesive and wax remover". takes even M/T and Hoosier rubber off fast

I wait until the rubber is nice and dry, then brush it off without any chemicals or water. After the pieces of rubber are off, I use simple green to get the residual off. Works pretty good. I'm thinking of spraying PAM on it before doing any more burnouts to see if that helps anything.

Citrol, is a orange based cleaner, we use it at work to clean off tack, tar, asphalt, oil, or other road construction junk. It works great and will not harm the finish. Spray wd-40 or cooking spray on your quarters before you run it will wash right off.

painters tape does work good, but looks like garbage in pics

http://mrshrinkwrap.com/collision-fi...ap/index.html#

my fathers does towing for insurance / auctions and ran across this stuff

This is what we are using now and it is almost not noticeable in pics....pull it off and it leave no residue or mess to clean up.

I use Mr. Moto Quick Polish - It was made by VP Fuels not sure if it can still be had. Spray it on the rubber, and it liquifies it - wipes right off.
