Default Anyone running sissy sticks with BMR xtreme duty anti roll bar?

If so, some pics would be greatly appreciated of the rear end brackets. There isn't a whole lot of room between the housing and the anti roll bar,and I don't want to take the anti roll bar off.Hate to put the sissy sticks on but I'm just tired of going up instead of out,I can't put any more than a 100 shot out of the gate as is now.

I've tried everything imaginable and still can't keep it on the ground with the NX 100 shot.I've moved the lower control arms to the upper holes on the relocation brackets, travel limiters set to about 4" of travel, shocks set from one extreme to the other.A couple weeks ago I left on 100 shot off TB with another 100 ramped in over .7 sec.,it was in the air for a pretty good ways 1.32 60' 6.09 @ 115.9 1/8 mile.Just looking for a way to hit 200 out of the gate, I'm pretty sure the sissy sticks will do it.

Have you tried playing with the instant center of the car to keep her down ? i think you would want to add a couple degrees - IC to help calm her down .. not 100% on that but other people will chime in..

by him moving the lca's up a hole in the relo. brackets did change the instant center. not sure im following what your saying about add a couple of degrees. you may be thinking of pinion angle. i dont think that will keep his car down any. you want to move the IC forward more to not hit the tires as hard.

if you have a bmr extreme duty or trak pak torque arm, you know the little links that connect the arm to the crossmember. you could make longer ones and that would help move the IC furhter forward. just an idea. also try less suspension travel in front. i think you could get away without the wheelie bars with some fine tuning but i'm no MADMAN, i'm just a rookie who reads chassis books for fun.

Are you running a 7531? Kill some timing on the launch.

This is what I do with my digital 7...... Although i've left on the bumper on as little as 14 degrees of timing..... not sure how little timing it would take to do just a tiny wheelstand.... I'm also going to try limiters and stiff front shock settings combined with some PA ramp retard on the XFI....... hopefully that will keep it down...

You might need assistance from a good digital 7 box with slew or sumthing in it.....

Pinion angle is not a tuning aid... It is good to have it right (at -1 to -2) but it certainly is not something that will make the suspension necessarily work better. These are direct words from a Chris Alston chassis book.

correct, pinion angle is just to keep the u-joints from binding.

Also set your limiters to 1 inch of travel instead of 4.

My chassis guy said to always have at least 2" of travel on the limiters for safety.
I have wheelie bars with the Spohn drag bar (just about the same as the BMR)
How high are you coming out? Are you on the bumper? Safety issue?
Myself and Rick (Firehawk441) both have wheelie bars and have tried them at all different settings and we both wound up setting them at 10 1/2 inches off the ground and we both leave wheels up every launch. Our cars just 60' better that way. We're on the bars everytime.
I don't know how to post pics on here, hehe but shoot me your email address and I'll send you some pics of the brackets and bars.
