If you have the cash, go beadlocks. If not then use silicone and deal with it. It's just a fact of life when you put screws in.
Actually the top end stability improves with tubes.

I have beadlocks now, dont run tubes in them and they hold air fairly well. But 10lbs a wheel for the locks is a big hit and they have their own little annoyances. I'm thinking of switching back to regular wheels w/tubes and screws again to be honest.

Sam I'd just probably tube them if it bugs you. This is why I never screw my rims, I figure they won't move that much if I keep them at 15 hot or higher.

Default Rim Screws

Got a question. Did some reading on threads about Rim Screws. I'm just looking to clarify that I can in fact Drill and install the Rim Screws while the MT Slick is mounted. Any tips and tricks from some old school racers is appreciated.

Specs: Centerline Wheel with 33" MT Slicks. Tubeless

Not trying to be a smart *** or anything but you did check and make sure your valve stem isn't leaking around the base or the shredder valve is tight and not leaking. Only reason I said that was due to you seeing no bubbles on the screws or around the rim. If its going flat in 2 hours there has to be somewhere that is leaking fast enough to show with spray.
