Koni shocks + drag= Fail?

Koni shocks + drag= Fail? Hey fellas Im currently running Koni 4/4's and strano springs. I origionally wanted to build a road course car but now Im more interested in drag.
Question is are these shocks and springs good for drag? If not how much of a hinderance are they?
I want to really get the nose up. I was running a 35mm front sway but that came off this last weekend.
Im also running the usual sub frame connectors, adj TA, adj panhard bar, 9 inch and Im getting my stock LCA's boxed and welding on relocation brackets later this week or the next. With that Im using MT et streets 275 40 17 tires.
So what should I change to get a good street/strip setup?

I recently cut a 1.69 60" with stock springs and Koni 4/4s in my M6 car. My 1.69 60" was with a soft launch with the front swaybar still in the car and on MT 315/35/17s. I have also just removed the front swaybar and I think I can easily cut mid to low 1.6s with a harder launch.

So Running my konis full soft in the front and full tight in the rear with stock front and rear springs should launch pretty well? Or should I just put stock springs in the rear and keep the stranos in front?
Im kinda looking to mix and match between stock parts and my koni/strano setup for best launch.

If you want good handling and good weight transfer ar the track I'd go with konis and stock springs all around. I'd also start with the konis at full soft in the front and one turn from full soft in the the rear.

well I was going to pick up a set of stock shocks to fiddle with but my clutch went out this morning so I guess that has taken priority as of now.
Anyone reccomend a good street/drag clutch? Centerforce didnt work too well.

I currently have an LS7 setup and it's a great clutch on the street but it's starting to slip badly at the track so I will be swapping to a Mcleod RST twin disk this winter. If you have the money to spend I would suggest a Mcleod twin or a Textralia. You could also go with a Spec 3+ and save a little money. I would do a search in the manual transmission section and make an imformed decision on what clutch fits your setup and budget.
